I learned the art of Lost Wax Sculpting in Venice Beach, California.
What started as a fun hobby quickly became a business, and for a number of years I sold my jewellery on Main Street, Santa Monica.

When I moved back to Ireland, I set up "dorothybentley.com".

Every piece is handcarved. I carve my own designs in wax and I do not use CAD.

Each necklace and bracelet
has a silver tag with my "db" logo,
indicating that it is a genuine
dorothybentley piece of jewellery.

I am a registered craftsperson with the Crafts Council Of Ireland.
